We are looking for full time qualified Motor Mechanic.We are situated at 8, 1717 Ipswich Road, Rocklea, QLD 4106 Roles & Responsibilities of Motor Mechanic: ·Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of different brands of vehicles in compliance with manufacturer’s guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations. ·Provide accurate estimates of cost, time, effort for a repair or maintenance job. ·Dealing with suspensions, brakes, air conditioning, coolant and other components of vehicles. ·Inspect removed parts for wear, damage, or other issues to determine whether repairs or replacements are needed. ·Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tyres. ·Inspect and adjust mechanical systems to verify alignment, balance, and fit after the repairs. ·Dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis and performing duties in a timely and accurate manner. ·Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to evaluate the performance of repaired components such as engines, transmissions, and braking systems. ·Respond promptly to vehicle breakdown service calls and travel to the location of the stranded vehicle. ·Inspect mechanisms of engine, transmissions, steering, or other components including dismantling and reassembling of engine parts, ensuring all parts are correctly installed and properly functioning. Requirements ·Certificate IV qualification in a relevant field is essential. ·A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required. ·A motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong drive to excel. ·Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
