AO4 Procurement Officer Cannon Hill Full-time, temporary contract (Monday – Friday) Initial contract to 27th of November 2026 highly likely ongoing contract extension $60.05 per hour superannuation About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Procurement Officer to join a high-performing government team within the construction and maintenance space. Supporting procurement and contract management functions, this role will contribute to the delivery of sourcing activities, purchasing services and reporting requirements across a diverse portfolio. The position will provide assistance to the Strategic Sourcing team and the Director of Procurement Strategy, providing support across strategic sourcing activities. Key Responsibilities Provide procurement and purchasing support across a range of goods and services, including construction and maintenance activities Assist in the preparation and management of tenders, including routine and more complex procurement processes Support evaluation activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy requirements Contribute to procurement reporting, analysis, and data management Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support sourcing outcomes Assist with contract management activities and maintain accurate procurement records Provide support to the Strategic Sourcing team and senior leadership as required About You Experience in procurement, purchasing, or contract management within a government or construction environment Understanding of procurement practices within construction, maintenance, or related industries Exposure to tendering processes, including preparing and calling tenders is highly desirable Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and contribute to reporting activities High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Benefits Opportunity to work within a government environment on impactful projects Exposure to complex procurement and contract management activities Supportive team environment with experienced professionals Apply To be considered for this position, please apply directly below, with an updated CV and cover letter in Microsoft Word format.
