We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, construction plans, and engineering documentation to support civil construction and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, layouts, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and other drafting software. Assist engineers and project managers in developing design concepts and construction documentation. Produce site plans, drainage layouts, earthwork drawings, road alignments, and infrastructure documentation. Review project specifications, calculations, and engineering data to ensure drafting accuracy and compliance. Modify and update technical drawings based on design changes and project requirements. Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, architects, and construction teams throughout project stages. Maintain drafting records, drawing registers, and technical documentation. Ensure all drawings comply with Australian standards, local council regulations, and project requirements. Assist with quantity estimations, material scheduling, and project documentation where required. Skills and Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering Drafting, Engineering Design, or related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering drafting or construction drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant drafting software. Strong understanding of civil construction drawings, engineering standards, and drafting principles. Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively within project teams and meet project deadlines. Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
