The opportunity We're looking for a passionate Principal Corporate Communications Officer to join our Corporate Communications team. Working closely with the Manager, Corporate Communications, you'll lead a small team, working on a diverse range of projects to deliver high quality communications advice, recommendations and support to achieve government and departmental goals. About you Strategic communicator: You are a strategic thinker and can effectively develop and deliver integrated communication strategies and activities for diverse customer, community and stakeholder audiences, based on best practice. Educational qualifications Tertiary Qualifications in Communications or public relations or equivalent industry experience is essential. Special conditions. A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years. A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry. Some out of hours and weekend work, as well as intra/interstate travel, may be required.
