What you’ll contribute to: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team. This role will assist the Project Owners to deliver commercially successful and fit for purpose projects and to assume the responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of major capital works projects ensuring consistency with the Corporate Vision, Mission and Strategic Direction. The Project Manager will assist in identifying future major capital works projects to ensure the provision of infrastructure meets the requirements for the future airport growth as presented within the Master Plan. You will bring relevant graduate or postgraduate qualifications in engineering or project management, supported by experience delivering small to medium projects from inception through to completion. You will demonstrate strong project management capability, including stakeholder engagement, contractor compliance, and effective planning, alongside well-developed communication, reporting, and analytical skills. These capabilities will enable you to contribute to the organisation’s social purpose by delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality infrastructure outcomes that support community and operational needs. Key deliverables/responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead project planning activities by supporting business case development, guiding feasibility and risk assessments, and ensuring alignment with planning legislation, airport master plans, and regulatory requirements. Support concept and detailed design phases by developing design briefs, reviewing outputs for compliance and quality, managing consultants, and coordinating approvals and certification processes. Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including procurement, contractor and consultant management, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to scope, quality, WH&S, and risk requirements. Drive effective communication and environmental compliance by providing clear reporting, engaging stakeholders, supporting governance forums, and ensuring adherence to environmental strategies, audits, and sustainable practices.
