About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Maintenance Officer (Integrity & Cathodic Protection) to join our Operations team in South Australia. This field-based role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance of gas pipeline assets, with an emphasis on cathodic protection systems and asset integrity. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure safe, reliable operations, support continuous improvement, and respond to operational and emergency requirements, including travel to remote locations. The role offers a 15 on/ 13 off roster with a crew change at Adelaide airport. What we’re looking for We are seeking a safety-focused and technically capable professional with strong experience in pipeline integrity and cathodic protection systems. You are proactive, organised and comfortable working in field environments, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and performance. You will bring: Electrical Trade qualifications and AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance) certification Strong understanding of AS2885 standards, particularly pipeline operations and maintenance Experience working with integrity systems and equipment, including cathodic protection (CP), DCVG, CIPS, ILI tools and related technologies to perform integrity work and maintenance tasks Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, licences and acts associated with pipeline operations Experience working with maintenance management systems and programs Strong understanding of WHS and environmental requirements You will also demonstrate: Ability to execute maintenance plans and respond effectively to unplanned failures Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in dynamic environments Experience supervising contractors and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in the field Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, safety and quality What we have to offer At Epic Energy, we value our people and believe in creating a workplace where you feel supported, challenged, and inspired.
