About the Role We are seeking candidates with strong electrical foundations to work in power system protection, commissioning and maintenance. Field, Office & Travel Balance The role combines field-based project and maintenance work with office-based planning, analysis, reporting and technical review. Your time will typically be split between: Site‑based work (commissioning, maintenance and investigations); and Office‑based work at our Ascot office , including planning, preparation, analysis, reporting and collaboration. You should expect: Regular but managed site work across Perth and regional WA Periodic travel aligned to commissioning, maintenance and outage activities Most travel to be short‑duration and planned , rather than fixed FIFO rosters Structured office time for: pre‑job planning and technical review post‑site analysis and reporting training, mentoring and knowledge sharing Office-Based Technical Work Office-based work includes: commissioning strategies are planned, protection behaviour is analysed, reports are written properly, lessons learned are shared, and engineers and technicians work side‑by‑side. This provides time to convert field findings into technical decisions, documented outcomes and repeatable work practices.
