The Role This APS5 HR Advisor role sits within the WHS, Wellbeing, Development and Capability function of a small, national Commonwealth agency. The role will support a range of WHS and wellbeing programs, including administration, coordination, reporting, inbox management, committee support and stakeholder engagement. You will also assist with WHS management system activities, ergonomic assessments, incident follow-up, wellbeing initiatives and early intervention / return-to-work matters. This role may be offered as an ongoing, non-ongoing or temporary transfer opportunity. The agency has offices across Australia and may consider candidates in a number of locations, although Canberra is the first preference. Some of your duties may include supporting the delivery of WHS and wellbeing programs across the agency managing and coordinating WHS administration activities, including inbox management providing evidence-based advice to staff and senior managers assisting with WHS reporting and wellbeing program reporting supporting the ongoing monitoring and improvement of the WHS Management System assisting with ergonomic assessments, incident investigations and follow-up actions providing secretariat support to internal WHS committees supporting procurement, contract management, LMS administration and other ad hoc team activities assisting with return-to-work case management and early intervention support. To be considered for this role, you will bring experience in HR, WHS, wellbeing, rehabilitation, injury management well-developed written and verbal communication skills the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team an understanding of relevant WHS legislation and HR policies experience with reporting, procurement, inbox management, LMS administration or committee secretariat support would be well regarded. Eligibility Australian citizenship is required. A current Baseline security clearance is also required.
