About the Unit Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) BEMS is seeking an enthusiastic team member to join the BEMS Administration Team in providing a professional approach to the delivery of plant and infrastructure maintenance services supporting patient care and staff accommodation throughout THHS. BEMS Department is responsible to support the facilitation of safe, effective and sustainable healthcare services through the best practice delivery of: Asset and critical infrastructure management functions and capability Asset maintenance functions and capability Capital project delivery and support The CMMS Officer position will support the delivery of high quality and cost-effective maintenance services by managing day to day operation of the Queensland Health SAP Plant Maintenance Module, S4HANA and BEMS department administration functions. Role requirements Mandatory possession of a tertiary qualification is not required within this position however, an enhanced level of skill and experience in SAP systems (or equivalent) operation is essential, procurement, construction industry or asset management experience is considered desirable. The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: Problem Solving: Demonstrated high level ability to identify, examine and critically interpret complex information to support monitoring and reporting against program outcomes. Communicates with Influence: Demonstrated high level ability to use sophisticated written and verbal communication skills to prepare and present detailed and summary reports to a range of high level stakeholders within the Department and across the organisation. Technology: Demonstrated ability to use the Queensland Health SAP Plant Maintenance Module (S4HANA or similar) and a demonstrated ability to use complex spreadsheet tools to analyse data sets. Cultivates productive working relationships: Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with internal and/or external stakeholders in a large organisation. Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve the goals of the work unit. Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of building infrastructure maintenance concepts and knowledge of Legislation and Australian Standards as they relate to the built environment.
