(Nurse Grade 6 Band 1) 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available Flexible working arrangements might be available in this role About your opportunity The Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit (AAMHIU) is a 38-bed acute inpatient service located at The Townsville Hospital. The unit delivers specialised care to consumers experiencing acute episodes of mental illness. Requirements: Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Highly Desirable: Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016. Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
