Established in 1969, Western Irrigation is a well‑respected water resource contracting company with over 50 years of industry experience. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Bibra Lake branch for an immediate start. This is a hands‑on role responsible for delivering accurate and compliant financial management across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day operations through effective financial planning, capital management, and strong corporate governance. Key responsibilities include: Lead and manage the finance function across two related trading entities Manage day-to-day financial operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and reconciliations Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and cash flow forecasts Manage end-of-month and end-of-year financial processes Liaise with external accountants, tax department etc. to ensure compliance with taxation, payroll, superannuation, and statutory obligations Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting practices and internal processes Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: CA or CPA qualified Experience managing end-to-end finance functions in a fast-paced contracting business Sound knowledge of Australian taxation, payroll, compliance, and reporting requirements High attention to detail with strong analytical capability Experience with Sybiz Vision and Visipay would be well-considered.
