The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile Federal Government reform program delivering meaningful change on a national scale. As the Training Specialist, you’ll develop engaging learning and education products that help internal teams and external stakeholders understand major legislative and system reforms. Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you’ll create innovative digital learning solutions including e-learning modules, workshops, videos and multimedia content, partnering closely with subject matter experts and program stakeholders. This role offers the chance to combine creativity, stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking while contributing to a nationally significant transformation program. The Role You’ll play a key part in designing and delivering engaging education and training products for a large-scale government reform. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and delivering innovative, accessible education and training content across multiple digital channels Working with subject matter experts to create and storyboard e-learning modules, videos, animations and podcasts Turning complex information into clear, user-friendly training materials Developing training programs that measure learning outcomes and effectiveness Collaborating across teams to ensure materials meet accessibility, style and compliance standards Evaluating education initiatives and reporting on their impact Staying across emerging trends and best practice in adult learning and instructional design The Ideal Person You’re an experienced and creative training professional who thrives in fast-paced, project-driven environments. You know how to turn complex information into engaging, easy-to-understand learning experiences that genuinely connect with people. You’re confident designing training materials that work across a mix of digital formats, from e-learning and videos to workshops and podcasts and you’re comfortable working with subject matter experts to bring technical information to life. You have excellent communication and organisational skills, and you can juggle competing priorities while keeping an eye on quality and impact. Your writing and editing skills are second nature, and you understand how to make content accessible, clear and aligned with government standards. You bring a collaborative approach, enjoy working with a range of stakeholders, and pride yourself on building trusted relationships. Ideally, you’ve worked in a government or regulatory environment before, and you’re familiar with user-centred design and adult learning principles. Above all, you’re motivated by work that makes a difference, helping people understand change and giving them the confidence to adapt.
