Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a Theatre Orderly. As an orderly, you will be working across the Perioperative Department including PACU, Cardiac Catheter Lab, Endoscopy, and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit with responsibilities including: Working with and assisting clinical staff. Cleaning and waste removal. Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked. Transporting patients between wards. Your Key Skills and Experience Certificate III in Health Services. Previous experience working in operating theatres assisting with surgical procedures highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively with all patients, the general public and all hospital staff. Ability to perform a physically demanding role. Self-motivated and able to work effectively following directions. Be available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster. A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures.
