Job Description We’re seeking Allied Health Professions from an Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor, Social Worker or Nurse background with community-based experience to join our thriving Workplace Rehabilitation team in beautiful Geelong. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you’ll be surrounded by encouraging colleagues and supported with tailored training, tools, and mentorship to help you succeed both professionally and personally. You will also have the opportunity to work across Ballarat & the South West region of Victoria giving you the opportunity to service a diverse caseload, see beautiful surrounds and enjoy the flexibility & autonomy to manage your own day. Some of your day to day includes: Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs and applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to health and work outcomes Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals & completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
