The team works closely with local and overseas suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective procurement, supply chain efficiency, and high service levels across complex industrial operations. The Role Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible to Ensure that the correct products are available promptly, in appropriate quantities, and at optimal costs. By proficiently exercising inventory and procurement operations, the Purchasing Officer plays a pivotal role in the organization's success by upholding customer satisfaction, reducing expenses, and enhancing operational efficiency. Optimise inventory using demand, forecasts and history to reduce stockouts and excess Manage end-to-end purchasing including sourcing, negotiation, ordering and contracts Develop and maintain supplier relationships, focusing on performance and value Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply Ensure procurement compliance with policies, ethics and governance standards Drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking, analysis and automation Maintain accurate ERP master data for purchasing and suppliers Provide flexible support across the supply chain team and business needs Coordinate international meetings and after-hours customer support as required About You Trade or commercial background in supply chain and logistics, with experience in purchasing, freight and inventory management Minimum 4 years’ experience in purchasing Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including solid Excel capability Experience with Navision, SAP and/or Power BI advantageous What's on offer $90K - $95K Super bonus Training and development opportunities 2 days work from home after training.
