We are a small, busy café located in Elizabeth Park seeking an experienced and reliable Café All-Rounder to join our team. This is a unique sole operator role , ideal for someone confident, organised, and capable of managing both front and back of house operations independently. About the Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the café during your shift, ensuring smooth service, quality food and coffee, and excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Preparing and serving high-quality coffee (barista experience essential) Preparing hot and cold food items to a high standard Providing friendly and efficient customer service Operating POS/EPOS systems and handling cash transactions Opening and/or closing the café independently Managing stock levels and placing food and supply orders Maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards Working autonomously and managing time effectively About You Proven experience in both front and back of house café operations Confident barista with strong coffee-making skills Ability to work independently as a sole operator Strong organisational and multitasking skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Experience with cash handling and POS systems Knowledge of food safety standards What We Offer Friendly local café environment in the heart of Norwood Consistent hours (flexibility may be required) Opportunity to take ownership of your role Job Type: Casual Pay: $24.95 – $40.22 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week Work Location: In person
