We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder with strong mild steel fabrication skills for ongoing work based in Smithfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused looking for stable Monday-to-Friday work. Key Responsibilities Fabricating and welding mild steel components independently Performing MIG welding on 6mm fillets Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering plans Handling, cutting, and lifting mild steel materials safely Producing high-quality welds and finishes Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace Following all workplace health and safety procedures About You Previous experience in MIG welding and mild steel fabrication Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team Full PPE including welding helmet, gloves, and steel-cap boots Own vehicle or reliable transport preferred What's on Offer $45 per hour Stable ongoing work Consistent Monday-Friday hours Supportive team environment Safe and well-maintained workshop If you have the relevant experience and are looking for your next opportunity, apply now.
