About the position: Prepare income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds. Prepare Business Activity Statements and state tax returns, such as payroll tax and land tax. Prepare financial statements and income tax returns to review stage, including the preparation of detailed working papers Researching and consulting on a range of tax issues and drafting tax advice for our managers and partners. Liaising with the ATO, OSR, clients, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. The ideal candidate: A degree in accounting from an Australian institution Completed or working towards a CA/CPA qualification. At least 2 years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
