As an Engineering Technologist, you will support the design, installation, and maintenance of customised vehicle systems and coordinate solutions to meet client and industry requirements. This position requires strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering knowledge in practice. Responsibilities and Tasks: Analyse and interpret technical blueprints, engineering designs, and specifications to ensure accurate integration of complex systems. Assist senior engineers in research, design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of vehicle engineering projects. Modify and apply new and existing engineering technologies to optimise performance for operational environments. Test and evaluate vehicle systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with standards. Develop and implement project management systems to streamline engineering workflows. Oversee specialist tasks such as installation, commissioning, and integration of vehicle systems. Innovate and improve established engineering practices for vehicle technology solutions. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and reports. Liaise with engineers, clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project delivery. Apply compliance and quality assurance protocols, including Australian standards and ISO9001, to all vehicle modifications. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification in Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years' experience as an Engineering Technologist. Proven experience in vehicle electronics, telematics, or automotive systems integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex technical drawings. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
