Job description Are you an experienced Structural Engineer with RPEQ certification looking for a role where your expertise genuinely matters? We are partnering with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business delivering complex structural steel solutions across industrial, infrastructure, mining, energy and commercial projects throughout Australia. Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, we are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer (RPEQ) to provide engineering leadership and sign-off authority across a diverse portfolio of structural steel projects. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected team where you will play a key role in design verification, compliance, technical leadership and project delivery. The Role Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for reviewing, certifying and supporting the design and delivery of structural steel projects from concept through to fabrication and construction. Key responsibilities include: Structural analysis and design of industrial steel structures RPEQ certification and sign-off of engineering documentation Reviewing structural calculations, drawings and design packages Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and relevant codes Providing technical guidance to engineers, detailers and project teams Liaising with clients, fabricators, contractors and external stakeholders Conducting site inspections and engineering assessments as required Supporting tender submissions and value-engineering initiatives Assisting with quality assurance and continuous improvement processes About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering Current RPEQ registration (essential) Proven experience designing and certifying structural steel projects Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, including steel design codes Experience within industrial, mining, infrastructure, manufacturing or heavy engineering environments Proficiency with structural analysis and design software Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work autonomously while mentoring junior engineers What's on Offer Senior technical leadership position Diverse and technically challenging project portfolio Long-term career stability with a growing organisation Collaborative and experienced engineering team Opportunity to influence engineering standards and project outcomes Competitive salary package based on experience Flexible working arrangements available Whether you're currently working in consultancy, fabrication, heavy industry or project delivery and looking for a role with greater influence and variety, we would love to hear from you.
