Our client is a well established Boutique Firm in Townsville looking for a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative and growing team. This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering practical business advice, and working across a diverse range of SME clients. The Role In this position, you will: Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a variety of industries Provide tax planning and business advisory support Complete Division 7A, CGT and FBT calculations Develop and maintain long-term client relationships Ensure compliance with relevant taxation and accounting regulations What’s Available Genuine client-facing role with autonomy and responsibility Exposure to both compliance and advisory work Supportive leadership team and career progression opportunities Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options after probation Convenient onsite parking Friendly and professional office culture About You To be considered, you will ideally have: 5 years’ experience within public practice accounting CA or CPA qualification (or currently completing) Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge across SME clients Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work autonomously and manage competing deadlines Experience using Xero, MYOB and other cloud-based accounting systems Ready to Make an Impact?
