We are currently partnered with an incredibly well-known Australian youth-led fashion retailer on the search for a Buying Operations Coordinator to join their Women’s team here in Brisbane. Sitting immersed within a large and fast-paced women’s buying function, you’ll support the day-to-day coordination, operations and overall flow of the team, working closely alongside senior leadership and playing a key role in keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with strong retail leadership, people management, retail / buying operations, VM, training or coordination experience who is looking to step into a more HQ-facing role within a youth-led fashion brand. What you’ll be doing Supporting the day-to-day operations and coordination of a large women’s buying team Working closely with senior leadership to support team visibility, workflow and readiness across key deadlines and reviews Coordinating timelines, priorities and communication across multiple stakeholders Managing leave, time and attendance coordination and broader team administration Supporting the movement of samples/products across departments including marketing and social Acting as the go-to support person across the function, helping ensure everything is operating efficiently behind the scenes Building strong relationships across buying, marketing and wider business functions Working within a fast-paced, high-energy fashion environment where no two days look the same What you’ll bring Previous experience within retail leadership, retail operations, training, VM or coordination-focused roles Strong people leadership and relationship-building capability Exceptional organisation and the ability to juggle multiple moving parts simultaneously A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach Confidence liaising with senior stakeholders and established teams Genuine passion for fashion and understanding of a fast-paced retail environment Desire to transition into a broader HQ-based role within a youth-led fashion brand What’s on offer Opportunity to join an incredibly well-known Australian fashion retailer Immersive role sitting within a large and fast-paced women’s buying function Huge exposure across leadership and multiple areas of the business Long-term growth and pathway potential internally Energetic, collaborative and fashion-forward environment
