This role operates in a demanding, fast‑paced environment characterised by exposure to complex, sensitive and high‑stakes incidents. The Assistant Director must exercise sound judgement under pressure, provide calm leadership and manage complex and sensitive situations that require time‑critical decision‑making and a high degree of discretion. While located within the Incident Management unit, the Assistant Director may be required to work flexibly across the branch in response to operational demands, critical incidents or emerging system priorities.
