Casual Receptionist – Manuka Park Serviced Apartments Manuka Park Serviced Apartments is looking for a casual Receptionist to join our small, friendly Front Office team. We’re a busy, high-occupancy property in the heart of Manuka, and we’re looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and genuinely enjoys working with people. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who’s happy to pitch in wherever needed and be part of a tight-knit team. This position offers 10–20 hours per week , with consistent availability required over December and January . There is also opportunity for permanent part-time and career progression for the right person. What We’re Looking For Friendly, reliable, and easy to work with A team player with a “no job too big or small” attitude Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Good computer skills (Microsoft Office; hotel systems a bonus) High attention to detail Ability to stay calm under pressure and work independently Flexible availability across: Weekdays (8am – 7pm) Weekends (8am – 4pm) Occasional after-hours calls Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role Key Responsibilities Welcoming and assisting guests in a professional, friendly manner Managing check-ins and check-outs Handling reservations via phone and email Processing payments and reconciling accounts Managing room availability and online bookings Assisting guests with requests and local information Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance Supporting management with day-to-day operations Pay & Conditions Casual position (10–20 hours per week) Hourly rate: $30 – $35 per hour (depending on experience) Penalty rates apply where applicable Opportunity to move into a permanent part-time role for the right person Why Join Us?
