Technology and data play a key role in supporting this mission, helping teams work more effectively and deliver high-quality services across the organisation. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing IT solutions that improve the quality of life and independence of their clients. The Role This is a business-facing, hands-on role where you will act as the go-to person for core applications, data, and reporting across the organisation. Business Central is their CRM, and you will play a key role in supporting and optimising its use. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to improve how Microsoft-based tools (including SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Apps) are used across the organisation, enhance reporting capability, and ensure technology solutions are delivering real business value. This is not a people management role. Instead, it suits someone comfortable working in the detail, providing practical guidance, and helping shape how Microsoft applications and business tools are used across the organisation. There is also an expectation to provide occasional out-of-hours support for urgent user issues, as well as travel to client or service sites when required. This role is well suited to someone who is passionate about giving back to the community, enjoys helping others, and wants to work in an environment dedicated to supporting people living with disabilities. Key Responsibilities Support external contractors to design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to support operational and strategic reporting Work across multiple core business applications, including SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities Act as the key point of contact for external vendors, including those delivering Power Apps and reporting solutions Review and guide vendor deliverables to ensure they align with business needs and expectations Gather, document, and translate business requirements into practical Microsoft-based application and reporting solutions Support troubleshooting and application-related queries in collaboration with the support team, including occasional after-hours assistance for critical issues Contribute to improving data quality, SharePoint usage, and broader Microsoft 365 adoption across the organisation Act as a senior applications point of contact, providing direction and informal guidance to the wider team Travel to client/service sites when required to support system usage and stakeholder needs About You Strong experience across core business applications within a Microsoft 365 environment, with a focus on data and reporting Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and reporting design Experience with SharePoint administration and day-to-day business usage Exposure to Power Apps or experience working with vendors delivering low-code Microsoft solutions Ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable Microsoft-based solutions Comfortable working in a smaller, evolving organisation where priorities can shift Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with ambiguity Confident engaging with external vendors and managing expectations Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach Motivated by purpose-driven work and contributing to positive community impact Nice to Have Experience within NDIS, healthcare, or not-for-profit organisations Exposure to Microsoft 365 optimisation or SharePoint uplift projects Understanding of data governance and data quality principles Project Management Skills Please note: this is not a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineering role.
