ABOUT THE ROLE This is an entry-level Airfreight Import role suited to a candidate looking to enter the logistics market and commence a career. The position offers variety and exposure to freight forwarding, logistics, order management and processing. Perfect for a motivated candidate interested in forwarding! DUTIES • Processing driver Import paperwork for clearance and release • Assist drivers with export paperwork before delivery • Assist warehouse staff with x-ray screening paperwork • Ensure all office visitors are signed in according to SOP • Assist the airfreight team as required SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Further education in logistics and or supply chain is an advantage • Sound operating knowledge of essential computer functions • Previous exposure to dealing with clients in previous roles • Current Drivers Licence • Police check may be required for airport clearance COMPANY CULTURE Fast-paced department in a busy airfreight team.
