About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior Manager to join our Business Lending Product team, specializing in Commercial Equipment Finance. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the development, refinement and execution of product strategy across BOQ Finance and BOQ Specialist, contributing to both financial performance and customer outcomes. Working closely with senior leaders across the business, you will act as a trusted advisor, contributing to the delivery of key initiatives that drive new business growth, enhance customer and intermediary experiences, and strengthen the Bank’s competitive position. You will lead and influence a broad range of activities across the product lifecycle, including product development, go-to-market strategies, portfolio performance and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance both strategic and operational priorities. You will collaborate across Distribution, Finance, Legal and Compliance to deliver initiatives that optimize performance, manage risk and ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations, including involvement in complex funding arrangements such as securitization and partnership programs. You will also play a key role in governance and stakeholder engagement, preparing insights and recommendations for senior leadership forums, and contributing to decision-making across product, risk and performance outcomes. With multiple initiatives often running concurrently, your ability to prioritize, influence and deliver outcomes will be critical to success in this role. About You You are an experienced product or finance professional with a strong background in commercial equipment or asset finance within a banking or financial services environment. You bring deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape, funding structures and market dynamics that influence product performance and competitive positioning. You are commercially astute and naturally curious, with the ability to analyze complex information, identify opportunities and translate insights into practical outcomes. You thrive in fast-paced environments where you can manage competing priorities, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Your stakeholder engagement skills are a key strength, and you are confident working with senior leaders, internal teams and external partners. You communicate with clarity and influence, building trusted relationships and bringing stakeholders on the journey to achieve shared outcomes. You are highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. With a proactive and solutions-focused mindset, you take ownership of outcomes, continuously seeking ways to improve processes, enhance customer experience and optimize product performance. Most importantly, you bring a strong sense of accountability, resilience and drive, with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality outcomes that support business growth and customer success.
