About the Role Join a high-performing Commercial Finance team where you'll play a pivotal role partnering with Portfolio Leadership, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive sustainable profitability. As Commercial Manager, you will lead financial modelling, planning, and performance insights for the Oils & Fats portfolio within the Foodservice channel, supporting strategic decision-making and long-term growth. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, this role offers strong visibility across the business and the opportunity to influence key commercial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Partner with Portfolio Leadership, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver financial insight and drive performance across the Oils & Fats Foodservice portfolio Lead financial inputs across integrated business planning processes, including Strategic Plan, Category Plan, Budget, and S&OP Analyse key sales and cost drivers, providing clear insights and recommendations to improve EBIT performance Deliver robust financial modelling and business case evaluation for NPD and Private Label initiatives, including Gate process support and post-launch performance tracking Contribute to promotional planning to ensure alignment with short- and long-term financial objectives Support strong financial governance by managing investment and DME spend controls Build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment, accountability, and delivery against business targets About you Degree qualified in Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline (CA/CPA or MBA preferred) 5 years' experience in commercial finance or business partnering, ideally within fast-paced environments with $50M revenue exposure Strong financial acumen with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability (macros/VBA highly regarded), supported by robust systems experience (SAP, BW, BI tools) Commercially minded strategic thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Proven experience partnering with stakeholders to influence outcomes and drive performance Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and planning capabilities with strong attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes at pace Exposure to FMCG, manufacturing, or foodservice channels, with experience in commodity-based portfolios (e.g., Fats & Oils) advantageous Demonstrated potential for leadership growth, with the opportunity to develop into a future successor to the Senior Commercial Manager role Why GF Make an impact - Play a key role in shaping commercial outcomes Career growth - This role offers clear progression pathways * Collaborative culture - Partner with high-performing, cross-functional teams in a business that values collaboration, ownership, and accountability Take the next step in your commercial finance career and Apply now
