Canberra based Business Development Manager A leading supplier of high-end designer furniture for the residential and commercial sectors is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to lead their new ACT trade office and showroom. This role requires a strong network within the design and architecture sectors, strategic thinking, and a passion for design. This is a critical role responsible for driving sales growth and managing key relationships. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a relationship focused attitude and natural ability to influence. Experience working within luxury or high-end design or interiors is highly regarded. Key Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the target markets Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with design studios, architects, and end-users Contribute to and execute a local sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives Prepare and present client presentations and effectively represent the brand and the product offering Provide exceptional client service, ensuring a seamless project experience from concept to delivery. Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.
