With continued growth in the ACT market, they are now looking to appoint an Account Manager to support and develop their existing client base while driving new opportunities. The Opportunity This is a well-rounded Account Management role offering a strong blend of relationship management, showroom engagement, and field-based sales. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of clients across the construction and A&D sectors, working closely with them to support project outcomes while identifying new opportunities for growth. The role offers a mix of time in the showroom and out in the field, giving you exposure across the full sales cycle. Why You’ll Love This Role • Work with a premium, design-led product offering • Strong balance between showroom, client-facing, and on-site activity • Opportunity to build long-term relationships across the A&D and construction space • Supportive and collaborative team environment • Ongoing training and development opportunities • Performance-driven commission structure What You’ll Be Doing • Manage and grow relationships with key trade, builder, and A&D clients • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth • Spend 1–2 days per week on the road developing new business opportunities • Support clients through the full project lifecycle, from enquiry through to completion • Track and report on sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics • Maintain accurate CRM records (NetSuite), including quotes, orders, and client interactions • Monitor and manage incoming leads, focusing on response time and conversion • Ensure the showroom is presented to a high standard at all times • Liaise with internal teams, including warehouse and operations, to support project delivery • Assist with capturing completed project imagery for marketing and social media What We’re Looking For • Proven experience in account management or sales within building materials, construction, or design-related industries • Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset • Confident communicator with solid commercial awareness • Proactive, organised, and self-motivated • Comfortable managing both inbound and outbound sales activity • Experience using CRM systems (NetSuite exposure advantageous) • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • High level of professionalism and attention to detail Requirements • Ability to work one Saturday per month (with a flexible roster) • Valid driver’s licence (shared company vehicle provided for work use)
