In this role, you will: Deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, confidence, and wellbeing. Assist with personal care tasks while maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect. Support mobility and safe manual handling using hoists and assistive equipment. Follow individualised care plans, including support for complex health needs (e.g. epilepsy, wound care). Prepare nutritious meals and support safe mealtime practices aligned with care plans. Encourage and enable participation in daily living tasks such as household activities. Facilitate community access, including social outings, appointments, and recreational activities. Build positive, trusting relationships with customers, families, and support networks. Monitor and report on customer progress, changes, and wellbeing. Maintain a safe environment by following health, safety, and risk management procedures. Experience supporting customers who may demonstrate sexualised behaviours, with strong skills in maintaining boundaries, ensuring safety, and providing respectful, person-centred care. You have experience supporting individual health needs by following care plans, including epilepsy support and wound care. You are confident with manual handling, PEG feeding, medication administration, and safe transport. You stay calm, capable, and compassionate when things get challenging. You have experience supporting people with varying physical, cognitive or behavioural needs — and always lead with respect. You love learning, connecting, and helping others live more independently.
