You will carry out maintenance, repairs, and inspections on heavy vehicle trailers. This includes diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant, and roadworthy. This role suits a trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with trailer experience, strong fault-finding skills, and a focus on safety and quality workmanship What You’ll Be Doing Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy vehicle trailers Diagnose faults and complete mechanical, hydraulic, braking, and electrical repairs Conduct inspections to ensure compliance and roadworthiness standards Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential issues early Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and operational standards Complete accurate records of work performed and parts used Work with the team to minimize fleet downtime What You’ll Bring Australian-recognized Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Diesel) trade qualification Experience as a Trailer Mechanic or similar heavy vehicle role Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Solid knowledge of trailer systems, including brakes, hydraulics, and suspension Strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality workmanship Good physical fitness for manual handling and varied conditions Ability to work independently and in a team Full Australian work rights (no restrictions) What’s in it for you?
