The Role: Elevate the Experience We are searching for a versatile culinary leader to join us in the key role of Group Chef Manager . This unique position offers unparalleled variety, working across our Hospitality Venues, including our butchery Melaleuka Farm Merchants. You will provide vital shift coverage, supporting venue Head Chefs, and work closely with the Group Executive Chef to maintain excellence across 7 kitchens. Your Key Responsibilities Multi-Venue Support: Support Head Chefs in the day-to-day operations of various venues, providing elite shift coverage and leadership where it is needed most. Service Excellence: Supervise junior kitchen staff and lead by example on the tools to ensure smooth, high-quality service during peak periods. Standard Bearer: Maintain absolute consistency in food preparation and presentation standards, ensuring the TMG brand is upheld regardless of the location. Kitchen Management: Manage stock levels, assist with supplier ordering, and oversee kitchen hygiene and food safety compliance in line with health regulations. Operational Flexibility: Master multiple sections across different kitchen layouts and adapt quickly to varying venue-specific menus and workflows. Strategic Conduit: Act as a key support link between the Group Executive Chef and the on-site venue teams. What You’ll Bring to the Team Adaptability: The ability to move between different kitchen teams and environments seamlessly, maintaining a positive and professional "can-do" attitude. Leadership & Mentorship: Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to set priorities for junior staff in a fast-paced environment. Culinary Mastery: Strong culinary skills with a creative flair and a deep understanding of current food trends and dietary requirements. Mandatory Requirements Experience: Substantial experience in a similar Executive Chef or Kitchen Management role within a multi-venue environment. Technical Literacy: Proficient in computer systems, including reporting, administration tools, and operational software. Pace & Resilience: The ability to move quickly and think strategically in a high-pressure, demanding environment. Certification: Current Food Safety Supervisor certification and a comprehensive understanding of WHS requirements and internal policies.
