We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Venue Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality management, creating events and working in a diverse venue. As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will support the Venue Manager in the day-to-day operations of the venue. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily operations during scheduled shifts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards. Manage and motivate a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff performance. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. Ensure the venue meets all health, safety, licensing and legal obligations. Lead all facets of the venue in the absence of the Venue Manager. Work with the Venue Manager to ensure all administrative duties are performed in a thorough but timely manner. Qualifications: Proven experience in hospitality management Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
