General Manager – Premium Hospitality Venue The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead operations within a premium, high-volume hospitality venue located in Surfers Paradise. Operating seven days per week across lunch and dinner service, this venue delivers a premium food, beverage, and guest experience within a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The role is suited to a confident hospitality leader who thrives in service-led venues, enjoys leading from the floor, and takes pride in building strong team culture and operational excellence. You will work closely with senior operational leadership to oversee day-to-day venue performance, team leadership, service standards, and overall operational execution. Key Responsibilities Lead daily front-of-house operations across lunch, dinner, and event service periods Drive exceptional guest experiences across all areas of the venue Manage and mentor supervisors, floor staff, bar teams, and hosts Maintain high operational and presentation standards across all shifts Execute rostering and labour management in line with agreed business targets Monitor operational performance including labour, stock control, and wastage Ensure RSA, WHS, and incident reporting compliance at all times Support the planning and delivery of special events and activations Act as a strong and visible leader on the floor, driving culture and service standards The Ideal Candidate Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Venue Manager, General Manager, or senior hospitality leadership role Strong background in premium, high-volume hospitality venues Proven ability to lead and develop large teams Strong understanding of labour management, service delivery, and venue operations Comfortable managing fast-paced service environments Professional, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure Current RMLV certificate required Full Australian working rights required The Benefits Senior leadership role within a progressive hospitality group Base salary of $90,000 – $100,000 super Competitive base salary plus a performance-based bonus of up to $40,000, with total remuneration potential of $120,000 – $140,000 super Career growth opportunities across a growing multi-venue group Staff discounts across premium hospitality venues Supportive and high-performing operational environment To apply, please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
