About the role: We are seeking a motivated and reliable eBike Courier to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting healthcare services through the safe, timely, and efficient collection and delivery of pathology specimens, medical supplies, reports, and equipment between laboratories, collection centres, medical facilities, and hospitals. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent time management, reliability, and a commitment to outstanding client service. You will represent the organisation in a professional manner and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys an active, fast-paced role and is comfortable meeting the physical requirements of the position. Experience riding a motorised fully electronic eBike or scooter is desirable but not essential, as full training, induction, and safety equipment will be provided. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 12:45pm. From time to time, you may also be required to perform Courier duties using a company fleet vehicle. Previous Courier experience within the medical or healthcare industry and a strong knowledge of metropolitan Adelaide will be highly regarded. Applicants must hold a current full unencumbered Australian driver’s licence with driving or riding experience in Australia (car, motorbike, moped, or similar eBike). All riders are required to follow road rules and operate safely at all times. Your key responsibilities will include: Follow designated run sheets and schedules, ensuring compliance with courier specimen collection and transportation processes Collecting and delivering specimens, store orders, reports and equipment to the correct destinations Maintain confidentiality and handle all specimens with care and security Ensure all specimen logbooks are filled out and signed at applicable locations Complete daily vehicle checks and daily audits prior to using company ebike and/or courier fleet vehicle Adhere to health, safety and quality assurance procedures, including incident reporting Liaising with a range of different people including clients, medical staff and couriers Compliance and adherence to Clinpath policies and procedures and WHS procedures. To be successful you will have: Essential: Applicants must hold a current full unencumbered Australian driver’s licence with or riding experience in Australia (car, motorbike, moped, or similar eBike). Previous experience riding an eBike/scooter preferred but not essential; The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as autonomously without direct supervision; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional approach in both presentation and conduct; The ability to be well organised, reliable, with strong attention to detail and demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
