As an ethno-specific aged care home, we understand how important familiarity, respect and community are to the wellbeing of our residents. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our Night Duty team on a permanent part-time basis. This role is suited to compassionate carers who take pride in providing respectful, consistent and resident-focused care overnight, while working collaboratively within a supportive clinical team. About the Role As a PCA on Night Duty, you will support residents with their personal care and overnight needs while ensuring comfort, dignity, safety and wellbeing are maintained throughout the shift. You will play an important role in creating a calm and supportive environment for residents and assisting the clinical team in delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities Assisting residents with personal care, hygiene, dressing, continence support and mobility Supporting residents with overnight routines and responding promptly to call bells Monitoring resident wellbeing and reporting changes or concerns to the RN/EN Maintaining accurate and timely documentation Supporting infection control, safety and workplace procedures Working collaboratively with the nursing and care team to ensure continuity of care Promoting residents' dignity, independence and choice at all times About You To be successful in this role you will have: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent Minimum 12 months experience working in aged care or a similar healthcare setting Availability to work permanent night duty shifts across a 7-day rotating roster Strong communication and teamwork skills A caring, patient and professional approach Ability to work independently and remain calm in overnight situations Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Current COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations in line with aged care requirements Highly Regarded Ability to speak Croatian or understanding of Croatian culture and traditions Experience working in residential aged care night duty roles Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to resident care and teamwork What We Offer Permanent part-time night duty shifts with regular ongoing hours Competitive rates under the Aged Care Award, plus applicable night shift penalties and superannuation Salary packaging benefits available as a not-for-profit organisation Supportive and welcoming team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunity to work within a culturally connected and community-focused organisation Meaningful work where you can genuinely make a difference in residents' lives Why Join Cro Care?
