The role sits within a collaborative data team supporting both BAU and project-driven work, with a strong emphasis on getting someone up to speed quickly and adding value from day one. Key Responsibilities Identify and define Critical Data Elements (CDEs) across key business processes Perform data analysis using SQL to support data quality initiatives Develop and implement data quality rules and validation checks Analyse and ensure data consistency across multiple datasets Support data cataloguing and metadata activities (definitions, ownership, classification) Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams What We're Looking For Strong SQL / data analytics skills (essential) Experience working with data quality, validation, or data integrity processes Background in data analysis, reporting, or data-focused roles Exposure to data governance, metadata, or cataloguing concepts Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Nice to Have Experience with data quality tools or frameworks Exposure to regulated environments (banking, insurance, government) Understanding of data governance principles or CDE frameworks Why Apply?
