A highly regarded commercial construction company is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their growing in-house design team. Working across workplace, commercial and fit-out projects, this role will see you collaborating closely with project managers, estimators and delivery teams to create high-quality, functional and innovative interior environments from concept through to delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced designer who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to be closely involved in the full project lifecycle. The Role Lead interior design outcomes across commercial fit-out and workplace projects Develop concepts, presentations and detailed documentation packages Coordinate closely with construction and project delivery teams Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Attend site meetings and assist during construction phases Mentor and support junior designers within the team What We’re Looking For 5 years’ experience as an Interior Designer within commercial interiors or fit-outs Strong understanding of construction methodology and buildability Proven experience delivering workplace and commercial projects Strong documentation and detailing capability Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment Strong presentation and communication skills Revit proficiency highly regarded What’s On Offer Melbourne CBD office location Salary of upto $130K super Strong pipeline of commercial projects Collaborative and supportive team culture Opportunity to work closely with construction delivery teams Career progression within a growing business Flexible and mature working environment This role would suit a commercially minded Senior Interior Designer looking to work within a construction-focused environment where design and delivery work hand in hand.
