Our Client Our client is an established, growing supplier of designer furniture & interior solutions. They have offices across the East Coast and sell a range of high end commercial fit out related furniture and interior products. They are seeking to employ a junior sales consultant for their VIC team. The Job We are seeking a natural people person who enjoys building relationships and is passionate about furniture, design and interiors. Your role will be in the showroom but more importantly out presenting products & concepts to junior architects and librarians in commercial practices. The role will also involve dealing with builders and developers and delivering successful commercial furniture fit out projects. You will be closely supported in your role by management and an excellent admin team so you can be out of the office chasing deals, building relationships, networking, entertaining clients and earning commissions from your sales. Skills Required We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills; Interior Design qualifications or similar. Previous experience of working in a client facing sales orientated role in the furniture / fit out industry. Knowledge of the specification / sales process. Strong face to face relationship building skills and superb communication and presentation skills. A self-motivated, confident approach to selling and building relationships. Passion & knowledge of designer furniture or associated interior fit out products.
