About the role The primary purpose of this role is to action hires that have been referred or allocated as a priority account by the branches, distribution centres, business development and the local support branch. You are responsible for building long term relationships by educating customers on the products and services we offer, recommending the best solution to meet their needs and resolving any hire or account issues or queries. Recommend, source and quote on solutions for the customer Create, update and finalise hire quotes and schedules, converting quotes to hires for account and non-account customers. Respond to customer enquires or referred potential hire opportunities in a timely manner, both account and non-account customers. Proactively follow-up quoted hire opportunities optimising the opportunity for success. Understand market pricing and internal pricing strategies to ensure the ‘right’ price is quoted. Support the branch network, priority accounts and BD teams to respond effectively to hire enquires and with quote generation and follow up Work to establish and/or enhance customer relationships through superior service, supporting repeat business Manage logistics and transport providers and coordinate rehires Complete relevant reporting About you Strong stakeholder management to coordinate outcomes for the customer Proven ability to convert potential business opportunities and expand the customer value to Kennards Hire Understanding of the markets we serve and how to match customer needs with the right solution Extensive experience in quoting, applying high degree of judgement in the trade-off between securing the hire and maintaining margin Excellent customer relationship skills; building, growing and maintaining\ Ability to professionally handle customer enquiries through email, phone, web chat, social media or other channels Have an ability to problem solve with excellent customer negotiation skills High attention to detail Join our team You can always tell someone who works at Kennards Hire.
