An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced National Sales Manager to lead and transform a growing sales function within the fintech and payments sector. This role is ideal for a commercially strong sales leader who knows how to close deals, build trusted client relationships, and uplift the performance of a sales team. You will play a key role in reshaping the sales function, improving capability, driving accountability, and supporting the business through its next phase of growth. This is not a pure hunting role. We are looking for someone who can step into strategic client conversations, convert warm opportunities, mentor the team, and bring structure, confidence, and discipline to the sales process. The Role As National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a national sales team, driving revenue outcomes, and supporting the transformation of the sales function. You will work closely with senior leadership to refine sales strategy, improve team performance, and ensure clients receive a high-quality, consultative experience. You will be comfortable meeting clients face to face, understanding their needs, and positioning payments and fintech solutions in a way that creates genuine business value. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and mentor a national sales team to improve performance and capability Drive sales transformation, including process improvement, pipeline discipline, and accountability Support and close key deals, particularly with strategic or high-value clients Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular face-to-face engagement Work closely with leadership to execute the national sales strategy Improve sales structure, reporting, forecasting, and team rhythm Support the team with complex negotiations, presentations, and client meetings Ensure a consultative, solutions-led approach across the sales function Represent the business professionally across the fintech and payments market About You You will be an experienced sales leader with a background in fintech, payments, merchant services, banking technology, or related financial products . You will have a strong track record of closing deals and leading teams, with the ability to bring people on the journey through change. You are commercially sharp, hands-on when needed, and confident operating at both strategic and client-facing levels.
