Facade Foreman - builder developer - $200M build on the Gold Coast The project is a high end retirement living complex comprising 2 x towers and top end facilities including a gymnasium, pool, restaurants and more Project located nr Hope Island on the Gold Coast Tier 2 tier environment, systems and processes Excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Foreman with a strength in facade management and installation to work on a quality development on the Gold Coast. This builder developer has a successful track record of designing, developing and building award winning retirement living facilities throughout Australia. Due to acquiring several sites on the Gold Coast and with construction beginning on $200M project on the Northern end of the Gold Coast, this company is looking to hire a façade foreman to join its project team. This is a long-term, permanent opportunity with 3 sites secured on the Gold Coast and the next 6-8 years of work planned ahead. The Project The initial project is consists of 2 x towers (8 levels) of residential units with a gymnasium, restaurants, pools, gardens, car park and other communal areas in keeping with a high-quality retirement living facility. The value of the development is approx. $200M and has a 20 month program remaining. The project is located on the Northern end of the Gold Coast. The Role Reporting to the Site Manager and working in tandem closely with the Structures Foreman you will take ownership of all façade works on this high-end development at Hope Island. Day-to-day duties will include: Key Responsibilities Focus on the key the delivery of the building envelope – facades - curtain walls, glazing, balustrades Supervise and coordinate façade trades and subcontractors Drive programme, sequencing, and daily site activities Reading drawings to ensure delivery in line with project specifications Maintain a strong focus safety Use of Procore and Hammertech software Liaise with site management and project teams to resolve issues efficiently. To qualify for the role it is expected you will possess the following: Several years’ experience in a Site Foreman role with a particular focus on facade management and delivery Will have spent some time in a supervisory role for established head contractor or builder developer in Australia A strong understanding and knowledge of building façade management across multi-level projects, in particular glazing, balustrades cladding etc. Ideally will have worked on multi-level projects in a foreman capacity, ideally across façade management and installation. QBCC Site Supervisor’s Licence preferred, not essential. What’s on Offer Strong initial salary package – between $170k-$205kSuper (depending on experience) Long term permanent position – 3 x sites secured on the Gold Coast with several years’ worth of projects laid out ahead.
