Employing 500 in Australia, they are looking for a Design Engineering Coordinator to join their busy Drawing Office. The Job & You Support a busy engineering and design team through coordination, document control, reporting, and project tracking. Ideal for someone from design support, engineering admin, or technical coordination who loves structure, detail, and keeping teams organised. Key Responsibilities Communicate and coordinate closely with the Design Manager and internal project stakeholders. Support leadership communication by drafting clear updates, emails, reports, and summaries. Provide direct administrative and coordination support to the Design Manager and wider engineering team. Arrange meetings, prepare minutes, track actions, and manage calendars for senior engineering staff. Gather, analyse, schedule, and track engineering design work across multiple projects. Track and report progress against milestones, deadlines, and outstanding actions. Ensure engineering drawings and design documentation are filed, controlled, and maintained correctly. Assist with updating internal systems and BOM data where required. Assist with KPI tracking and reporting for the team. Maintain SOPs, flow charts, templates, and process documentation. Identify issues early and help keep workstreams moving. What You’ll Need Around 5 years’ experience in a similar role, such as Document Controller, Design Coordinator, Engineering Administrator, or Project Support. Strong communication skills and confidence in liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience coordinating documentation, projects, and internal stakeholders effectively. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Exposure to ERP systems would be beneficial. MS Project knowledge would be advantageous. Inventor, SolidWorks, or GPDM exposure would be desirable.
