The Role Anglicare are currently seeking a Workforce Operations Lead to lead the development and implementation of rostering best practices and drive the ongoing establishment of a centralised, standardised approach to Rostering, Time and Attendance (RTA), operational and labour planning across the organisation. This role will be split across our office in Eight Mile Plains and our Head Office in Fortitude Valley. Your role in supporting Anglicare will include: Act as the lead for Anglicare's centralised rostering model, ensuring consistency and efficiency in rostering practices Develop and disseminate comprehensive rostering guidelines and procedures to ensure uniform adherence Continuously refine and innovate rostering methods to enhance staff productivity and resident/client care Oversee the complete rostering process, including scenario and capacity planning, shift management, leave management, and staff allocation Utilise new roster software and tools to streamline the rostering process and maintain compliance with relevant regulations Monitor staff allocation based on resident/client care needs, minimising idle time, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels during peak demand. Develop and maintain capacity plans for operational teams, including FTE, productivity measures, and forecasted staffing changes Support management in identifying business challenges, offering informed advice based on data analysis, and influencing policy, process, or programmatic changes What you will bring to the role Demonstrated experience in leading a workforce planning and centralised rostering function that supports a multi-site and geographically dispersed workforce Deep understanding of the end-to-end rostering process including employee contractual and industrial requirements Experience operating and leading RTA solutions Strong numerical and analytical skills in workforce planning including advanced MS Excel and other planning tools Demonstrated project and change management capability Why you’ll love working with Anglicare Southern Queensland Voted Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brand in Aged Care seven consecutive years in a row.
