The Learning and Development Officer supports the effective delivery of learning and development activities across MiCare by providing coordination, administration and compliance support for training, onboarding and workforce development initiatives. This role is responsible for the administration and integrity of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring training data, records and reporting are accurate, audit ready, and aligned with legislative and organisational requirements. Working closely with the Learning and Development Lead and stakeholders across the organisation, the role contributes to workforce capability, compliance, and continuous improvement of learning systems and processes. This position requires a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who can balance structured system and data management with the dynamic, day-to-day administrative and operational demands of a centralised L&D function. What You’ll Do Key Result Areas Accurate and audit-ready learning systems – Maintain reliable LMS data to support compliance, reporting and decision-making Effective training coordination and delivery – Ensure learning activities are well organized, communicated and aligned to organizational priorities Strong training compliance and risk management – Monitor mandatory training, identify risks and support compliance with regulatory and quality standards Workforce capability and onboarding support – Support effective induction and training processes to build staff competence, confidence and compliance Efficient L&D operations and continuous improvement – Provide effective administrative support and identify opportunities to enhance systems and processes What You’ll Bring Qualifications Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Human Resources, Training & Assessment, Community Services or related field (or equivalent relevant experience). Experience Previous experience in an administrative support role, preferably in aged care, health, education or community services. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (experience with Ausmed advantageous). Understanding of compliance obligations in aged care or related sectors is highly desirable. Essential skills Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint) and data entry systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work respectfully in a culturally diverse and ethno-specific environment. A proactive, flexible, and supportive team player.
