Urgent Requirement for Marketing & Logistics Officer - Urea Project Ceres in Perth, Western Australia Note: FIFO is not available Job Description: The Marketing & Logistics Officer will support the marketing, sales coordination, and logistics management activities associated with production of urea and ammonium nitrate from Project Ceres and receipt of UF80- and other feedstocks and chemicals by Project Ceres. The role will assist in managing product shipments and receipts, customer coordination, export documentation, logistics scheduling, and collection of market intelligence while ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Procurement & Materials Planning - Assist the marketing team in coordinating sales activities and customer engagement. - Support preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis. - Monitor global fertiliser market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activities. - Assist in preparing marketing presentations, proposals, and reports. 2. Inventory & Warehouse Management - Coordinate logistics operations for urea and ammonium nitrate shipments including export and domestic deliveries. - Coordinate logistics operations for the receipt of UF80 and other feedstocks and chemicals. - Liaise with shipping companies, trucking companies, freight forwarders, stevedores and port authorities as necessary. - Monitor shipment and receipt schedules and ensure on-time dispatch and delivery for outgoing product and receipt of incoming products, including ensuring that correct information is provided to the operational/accounting teams for entry into the SAP ERP system. 3. Logistics & Material Handling - Act as a key liaison between customers, operations, finance, and logistics providers. - Ensure compliance with local laws, international trade regulations and company policies. 4. Material Traceability & Documentation - Maintain accurate records of shipments and receipts, sales transactions and purchase transactions, and logistics costs. - Prepare logistics performance reports and marketing updates. Education/Experience Requirements - Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Trade. - Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in marketing coordination, logistics, supply chain, or commercial operations in fertiliser, chemical, mining, energy, or commodities industries preferred.
