About the role We currently have a vacancy for a skilled and experienced FIFO Full-time HD or LV Mechanic to join our team. In this workshop based remote role, reporting to the workshop supervisor, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, repair, and servicing of primarily Toyota vehicles, Hino and Isuzu trucks, small excavators and other associated civil plant. Ensuring they are in optimal working condition and compliant with industry standards. There are also positions and or opportunities available to work on power generation equipment, power station control systems, and carry out associated fabrication work as required. An equipped field service vehicle is supplied. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty and light vehicles and trucks Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying potential problems Maintaining detailed records of all work performed Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient and effective operations About You Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar position you'll have/be: Proven experience as a HD/LV mechanic, with a minimum of 3 years' experience Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills Experience of working in a remote environment is highly regarded Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Relevant trade qualifications or certifications A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a range of heavy-duty and light vehicles How to Apply If you feel that this role is the one for you, please apply via SEEK , attaching a brief cover letter as well as an up to date resume outlining your suitability for the role.
