Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our team based in Melbourne, VIC. This role plays a key part in supporting the financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all finance processes. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, reporting requirements, and providing guidance to the wider team. This includes accounts receivable and payable oversight, reconciliations, financial controls, safety net reporting and assisting with month-end processes. Key Responsibilities: Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Manage invoice processing, including review, reconciliation, and issue resolution Support month-end and year-end financial processes Maintain and improve financial procedures Assist with financial reporting and analysis Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries Support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in a similar finance role Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities Confident communicator who can engage with both internal and external stakeholders Proactive and solutions-focused approach Experience working within a fast-paced environment.
