A little about the role As the Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will work closely with the Foster Carer Recruitment team to coordinate marketing activities, events and early-stage carer engagement, playing a critical role in supporting the journey that leads to children and young people being placed with loving carers and families. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with key stakeholders to plan, deliver and evaluate carer events, information sessions and promotional activities aimed at recruiting prospective foster carers and supporting carer retention, young people in OoHC care and community engagement Developing and managing marketing materials, event resources and supplies in line with KAA brand guidelines and national marketing requirements Providing essential administrative support across carer recruitment, including database maintenance, responding to carer enquiries and assisting where required during the screening and assessment process The base salary for this position is $88,090.08 - $94,788.72/annum (based on 1.0 FTE) super mobile salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This position is permanent, part-time (0.8FTE). About you You are organised, creative and people‑focused, with a collaborative approach and a genuine motivation to support outcomes for children, young people and families through effective marketing and carer engagement. We’re looking for someone who has: Experience or qualifications in marketing, events coordination, administration or customer engagement, with confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to provide a warm, professional and responsive experience for prospective carers Proven ability to coordinate events and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards A creative and detail‑oriented approach to developing marketing materials and supporting recruitment activities that resonate with the community A commitment to child safety, cultural inclusion, ethical practice and working collaboratively as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment My Key Assets The health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee and client experience.
